Michela
Sabadin was born in 1991 in Trieste where she studied Organ under the guidance
of Prof. W. Matesic at the “Giuseppe Tartini” Conservatoire. In 2015, she
graduated in Organ and Organ Composition and in 2019 she attained an advanced
specialisation Degree in Organ Performance, graduating with the highest
honours.
She
attended organ masterclasses with Guy Bovet, Fausto Caporali, Riccardo Cossi,
Gabriele Damiani, Lorenzo Ghielmi, Ludger Lohmann, Jean-Baptiste Robin,
Wolfgang Seifen, Ben Van Oosten and Erwin Wiersinga. She has performed at several music
festivals in Italy and abroad (Slovenia and UK) and is a founding
member of the Accademia Organistica Tergestina.
In 2015, she was a member of the National Symphony Orchestra of Italian Conservatoires.
In 2016,
she was organist and conductor of music in St. Teresa del Bambin Gesù and was
later organist of the church of Ss. Andrea e Rita from 2013 to 2017
She
collaborates regularly as organist with several choirs of the city, including
the Choir of the University of Trieste and the “Diapason” choir and orchestra.She also conducts the “Danilo Dobrina” choir in Trieste.
Since 2017,
she has served as the titular organist of the Church of Beata Vergine del
Soccorso, where she is responsible for the 1927 fine Mascioni Organ (op.388).
